This certificate may be required to fulfill legal obligations, such as demonstrating compliance with court orders or probationary requirements. If you have transferred credits from another program, you will receive a certificate of attendance indicating the amount of class hours completed with us.
Attending the class is typically a requirement for fulfilling legal obligations or obtaining a reduced sentence. However, it does not automatically expunge or remove the DUI conviction from your record. Each jurisdiction has its own laws regarding record expungement or sealing – please talk to a lawyer regarding anything associated with legal matters. Our classes are either 12 or 26 hours, total. Classes meet one hour a week so the total duration for each is 12 weeks or 26 weeks.

A DUI/Early Intervention Class is a program designed to educate individuals who have been convicted of driving under the influence (DUI), Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) or who are at risk of such behavior. The goal of Early Intervention Education about alcohol and drug is to provide participants with knowledge and skills to prevent future incidents and make safer choices regarding alcohol and driving.
Missing a session may result in consequences such as extending the duration of the program or being required to attend additional sessions. It’s essential to communicate any unavoidable absences with the program facilitators and follow their instructions for making up missed sessions, if possible. You should also contact anyone other than the instructor associated with your case, for example your lawyer or probation officer.
